COMPUTER MUST BE SELECTED CORRECTLY

In recent years, more and more people have started using computers. That's why we need to think about how to choose the right computer and work programs so as not to harm health. We often hear that you should buy an unbeatable processor with a lot of memory and power. But that's not quite the case. It should be relevant to the problem to be solved. And here it is not worth saving on the monitor and computer table. They are the ones that affect health the most. You should buy the best monitor even if you are only going to work on texts. It is very important to adjust the place to work with the computer: table, chair and lighting.

We all know that the computer can cause damage to the human body. This damage can be both physical and psychological.

PHYSICAL DAMAGE

• Electromagnetic radiation

• Deterioration of eye sight

• Pain in the neck, back and wrists

• Skin rash, hair loss, oxygen starvation

• Allergy, stomach infections

PSYCHOLOGICAL DAMAGE

• Stress in case of losing information

• Dependence on the computer /phenomenon affecting the psyche/

It is also necessary to follow the following sanitary-hygienic rules:

SANITARY - HYGIENIC RULES

• The computer should be placed in the corner of the room with the back facing the wall.

• The computer room must be cleaned daily and the floor must be free of carpet or other similar items.

• Wipe the monitor with a dry, clean cloth before and after using the computer.

• The room should be ventilated frequently.

A FEW TIPS!

How to protect your eyes from the screen - The distance between your eyes and the monitor should be at least 70 cm. The monitor should be approximately 10 degrees below the conventional horizon, which is at eye level, meaning the screen should be viewed from top to bottom. The lighting should be organized so that the screen does not shine, that is, it does not reflect the external light. It will be good if the monitor screen is perpendicular to the light source. If the workplace is semi-dark, it is necessary to have additional light. Every half hour it is recommended to break away from the monitor and look away. This exercise helps to maintain eyesight. Once in a while you need to close your eyes for two or three minutes. Thanks to this, the eye muscles relax, the sensitivity of the visual receptors is restored, thanks to which clarity and brightness are ensured.

NECK, BACK AND WRIST PAIN – Sitting in the same position for long periods of time tightens the back muscles, restricts blood flow and causes swelling and pain. What to do in such cases? First of all, it is necessary to organize the working conditions correctly. The height of the desk should be 75-85 cm. It is better to sit on a swivel chair, which will have a flexible support and handrails. Place the keyboard so that you don't have to stretch too much, and the mouse should be as large as possible, with a light frame and a large ball. Don't hesitate to get up and stretch from time to time.

AND FINALLY - Children are allowed to spend no more than 2-3 hours a day in front of the computer. According to hygienic norms, the maximum time for adults to work without interruption is up to 2 hours, and for children - 10-20 minutes. The minimum rest time is 15 minutes.
